Home Of Hope - Health & Nutrition

Proper nutrition in childhood can reinforce lifelong eating habits that contribute to the children's overall well being and help them to grow up to their full potential and a healthy life. Therefore, at The Home of Hope Child Development Centre, we make sure the children are given proper nutrition, which includes eating three nutritious meals a day.

To keep our children healthy we make sure their diet includes:

A variety of foods Plenty of grain products, vegetables and fruits.

Provides enough calcium and iron to meet their growing body's requirements.

Balancing the food they eat with physical activity.

All the children are given regular check ups from the local government clinic and are fully immunized up to date. Children who come newly to the Home of Hope Child Development Centre are given a full check up by our local doctor (A Child Probation requirement) and then a health plan is put in place to help that child with his/her development and health.
